The TMCCC is the largest club against club racing series in the country. It was founded by a group of muscle car owners that liked to race their cars but didn't want to race in a weekly bracket series. Soon after the first few events, more clubs in the area started showing interest and before you knew it, the series had grown into 9 -10 event covering much of north Texas and Oklahoma. With car counts exceeding 200 at many of the races, we have proven that muscle cars are here to stay.
Every club races for points to see who are the true champions in the muscle car world and a driver reward program tracks individual drivers' points to see who is the best in each class. Each year there is a rewards banquet where the top clubs and drivers are honored and presented with trophies, prizes and cash, proving that we give back to the racers. The overall points champion also receives free entry to all of the next years races and the runner-up receives entry into half of the races.
Please do your part and get registered prior to the first race. We want to minimize the amount of people at the registration tent at the first race.
Fellow racers, it would be to your advantage to pre-register for the 2021 racing season. This would help us post points in a timely manner and prove helpful to our volunteers. Please fill out the application form found on the “Drivers Reward” page and mail to Sarah Vidrine along with applicable fees. Thanks for your assistance.
Howdy Gals and Guys, my name is Bill Boon. I will be the president of the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge “TMCCC” for the upcoming 2021 and 2022 race seasons.
2020 was a tough year for all of us, with the Corona Virus, the sickness it caused, and the shutting down of many businesses. However, our President of the past two seasons, Jorge Suris, did an awesome job of getting our races scheduled, rescheduled, and contested. Thank you Jorge for a remarkable job.
Also want to thank Sarah Vidrine, Martha Kaus, Mike Bearce – all of you continue to go above and beyond the positions you signed up for, at the track and off. I admire each of you for your commitment to the success of the TMCCC.
I would like to welcome Robby Martin as our TMCCC Vice President – Robby brings GM knowledge and relationships to our board. I have liked Robby since I first met him. We have a lot in common in our beliefs and lifestyles. He has shown great love for the TMCCC, and I look forward to working with him.
We have ten races on the schedule for 2021, Three races at Xtreme Raceway Park, One at Ardmore Dragway, Two at the Texas Motorplex, and new for our 2021 season, Four races at I-30 Dragway in Caddo Mills. I pray we will be able to have each of those races contested on the days that we have them on the schedule.
We would like to see all of our 2020 Racers come back and race with us in 2021 – Plus, we would like to see each of you invite a new Racer to come race for your Club. I know we have one Club that is wanting to join us for 2021 that being the Volkswagen group. They would bring some very interesting competition for many of our classes.
One class we need some growth in is the Electronics Class. Personally, I would like to see 20 – 24 “True” Electronics cars each race.
At our January 16th Board and Club Coordinator meeting we will be addressing some of the issues brought before the Board during our last few races in 2020.
Want to wish everyone a healthy, safe and prosperous 2021. And, thank all of you for continuing to be a part of and supporting our TMCCC !!
